Abstract
Tujuan: Penelitian ini untuk memaparkan kaidah desain interior Bali modern untuk fasilitas pariwisata yang akan ideal diterapkan pada masa pascapandemi COVID-19.
Metode Penelitian: Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif-kualitatif dengan menggunakan adalah studi pustaka.
Temuan: Prinsip desain interior Bali modern yang sesuai adalah: (1) pemanfaatan pencahayaan alami melalui bukaan maksimal dalam interior (2) pemilihan jenis permukaan material yang tidak berpori dan mudah dibersihkan (3) penerapan prinsip desain berkelanjutan pada interior (4) pemanfaatan teknologi informasi untuk mengatur durasi dan pergerakan manusia dalam interior.
Implikasi: Keempat prinsip diharapkan dapat menghindari baik pada masa ataupun pasca pandemi COVID-19 sehingga industri pariwisata memberi rasa aman bagi wisatawan dan juga lebih menggali filsafat arsitektur tradisional Bali (ATB).
